Rob is an experienced specialist investigator managing and conducting investigations into cyber criminality linked to cyber attacks and security incidents, supporting and contributing to the response, risk mitigation, remediation and disruption.
With a robust and qualified background in specialist law enforcement, Rob has led and managed complex, high profile and sensitive cyber investigations covering a wide range of incidents and attack vectors. His extensive experience includes combating cyber threat actors and organised crime networks, advanced persistent threats (APTs), and other high-risk entities targeting and impacting UK and global organisations of all sizes and sectors resolving cases with proven success.
In his current role, Rob is engaged in supporting live security incidents focussing on the cybercrime element, conducting and managing the criminal investigations and supporting lines of business investigations with a cyber element towards protecting the business and its customers from internal and external threats. Rob is also engaged in policy development, process reviews and management within the investigations field, working towards elevating skills, knowledge, and effectiveness of investigators and cyber teams dealing with sophisticated cyber challenges.
As a career investigator and Subject Matter Expert in cybercrime investigation and intelligence, Rob is dedicated to collaborative and partnership working with internal teams, trusted external sources and law enforcement, leveraging global insights to deliver impactful, results-driven solutions in the fight against cybercrime.
